Kerabu Perut Lembu





Bahan-bahan:
350gm perut lembu
2 cili padi merah
2 cili padi hijau
segenggam daun ketumbar
2 labu bawang merah
1 inci halia
1 batang serai
2 sudu besar bawang besar yang telah dicincang
1 sudu besar serbuk limau
2 sudu besar cordial limau
2 sudu besar jus lemon

cara-cara:
1. Rebus perut lembu yang telah dibersihkan selama 1 jam 30 minit.
2. Setelah perut lembu empuk tapis dan bilas airnya.
3. Gaulkan kesemua bahan dan hidang. :)

Pesto Pasta


Ingredients:
Blend:
 1 stalk of Spinach
1 stalk of Parley
1 stalk of Peppermint
6 cloves of Garlic
1 cup Olive oil

Dice:
1 whole Tomato
1/2 out of a large Red Onion

Boil:
1 bag of Fettuccine pasta

Additional Ingredient:
1 cup pasta water
1 cube of chicken cube
salt and pepper


1. Blend all the ingredients and prepare the dice ingredients. 
2. Boil the pasta.
3. Take a cup of pasta water and then drain the pasta. Leave the pasta to rest.
4. Saute the red onion. Add in the paste (blended ingredients) and the pasta. Mix well.
5. Gradually add in the pasta water. Just to make the pasta moist.
6. Add in the chicken cube, salt and pepper to taste. 
7. Serve the pasta in a bowl and garnish with the diced tomatoes. Done! :) 

Ayam Masak Kicap Kaww! (Malay)

Bahan-bahan:
2 keping peha (belah 3)
2 keping atas peha (belah 4)
satu labu bawang putih
5 cm halia
1cm lengkuas
1 biji bawang merah besar
2 sudu besar sos ABC
1 sudu besar karamel masakan
1 sudu teh sos tiram
1 sudu teh gula perang
1 sudu teh garam
3 keping cili kering
2 batang cili padi merah
1 sudu besar tepung jagung + air 1 cawan
marjerin atau minyak untuk menumis.
1/4 cawan air

Langkah 1:
Tumis darat ayam yang yang telah dibersihkan dan juga dipotong.

Langkah 2:
Sementara menunggu air ayam untuk mengering, hiris halus-halus bawang merah, bawang putih, halia, lengkuas dan lada kering.

Langkah 3:
Setelah air ayam kering, masukkan marjerin. Tumiskan bawang merah, bawang putih, halia, lengkuas dan lada kering yang telah dihiris tadi. Gaul rata.

Langkah 4:
Setelah itu, masukkan sos ABC, karamel masakan dan sos tiram. Gaul rata dan masukkan air. Gaul lagi. Masukkan cili padi dan gaul lagi.

Langkah 5:
Masukkan campuran tepung jagung tadi dan gaul rata. Akhir sekali masukkan gula perang dan garam secukup rasa.

Ayam masak kicap sedia untuk dihidang :)


'Sticky Ayam Masak Kicap' (English)



So as you all know I am the type who loves to experiment with food. I don't like to follow the recipe given unless it is very complicated for me to understand then it might takes a little bit of time from me in the kitchen. Hehe.

So here it is finally, I discovered a way of cooking Ayam Masak Kicap the way I like it :) It is very sticky like those sticky air fried chicken I used to made. Hehe will upload the recipe soon, InshaAllah :)

Some people would boil the chicken or deep fried it but I used the same technique as making gulai darat, which you tumis darat the chicken. You'll understand later on as you read on the recipe.


So here's the ingredients:
2 thighs and drummet (cut into 8 each)
a pumpkin of garlic
5cm ginger
1cm galangal
1 large red onion
2 tablespoon ABC sauce
1 tablespoon cooking caramel
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 pieces of dried pepper
2 pieces of red bird's eye chili.
1 tablespoon corn starch + 1 cup of water
1 tablespoon of margerin

Step 1:
Clean the chicken throughly and add in into the wok. Stir occasionally.

Step 2:
While waiting for the water from the chicken to dry slice the garlic, ginger, galangal, onion, dried peppers and red chili.

Step 3:
Once all the water in the wok is dried, push the chicken aside and add in the margerin. Saute all the sliced ingredients except for dried peppers and red chili. Mix well.

Step 4:
Add in the ABC sauce, cooking caramel and oyster sauce. Stir. Then, add in the dried peppers and red chili. Stir again and add a little bit of water around 5 tablespoon. Then stir.

Step 5:
Add in the cornstarch mixture and then stir. Then add in the salt and brown sugar. Stir well and serve.

This is the final result! Seriously you will love it!
