Satay Pasta

Have you ever tried satay pasta before? Well for me it is my first trial of mixing something western with something asian. I know I was a bit daring? Hella daring I tell ya because I was scared that it will turn out bad. However, everyone loves it! Well atleast my sisters and mother of course. They are the critics at home. The major critic so far is my brother. Haha he is such a picky eater. Nevertheless, he is the one who pushed me so that I will cook with my heart not just with art and brains.

I got this idea because I have so much satay leftovers yet there is no rice to make fried satay rice. So why not Satay Pasta? hehe

So hey! Quit babbling and let's get started with the recipe shall we? :)

So the ingredients that you need are:

Chopped finely all these ingredients:
1 large bombay onion
1 red onion (if it is a small one make it three)
3 stalks of celery
4 green bird's eye chilli
4 red bird's eye chilli
Half or a carrot
chicken satay

1 packet of fusilli pasta
1 cube of beef stock
1 egg
1 and 1/2 tablespoon of Maggie Cukup Rasa
A pinch of salt
A dash of All Purpose
1 egg

Steps:

1) First boil the pasta with some oil and a pinch of salt. Once the pasta is cook, drain it and leave it to rest.

2) Then, after you have all the chopped ingredients ready, preheat the pan add a knob of butter with some oil to prevent the butter from burning. Then add the chopped ingredients except for the satay.

3) When the onion is cooked add in the beef cube and the egg. Stir well. Add the satay. Stir.

4) Add in the pasta and stir until everything is well combine.

5) Add the Maggie Cukup Rasa, All Purpose and salt. Stir. The condiments shall be added according to your liking.

How easy is it? I hope you'll enjoy it :) Bon Apetit!
